Nonostante la zona di montagna suggerisce una difficoltà nella logistica Castel del Piano è collegata giornalmente da servizi di trasporto (Pulmann e autobus) che collegano non solo con i piccoli paesi più vicini (Arcidosso, Santa Fiora) ma anche con i principali centri della Toscana (Firenze, Grosseto, Siena) e extraregionali (Lazio e Umbria). I supermercati sono numerosi in zona: oltre alla Coop e il discount Hurrà, ci sono un gran numero di alimentari che vendono prodotti tipici toscani e Ottime macellerie dove acquistare cacciagone e carne di primissima scelta. Macelleria consigliata è quella di "ROSI". Per il Parcheggio: Nel caso raggiungeste Castel del piano in Automobile dovete necessariamente parcheggiare l'auto fuori dal centro storico. I parcheggi gratuiti si trovano dai 500 agli 800 mt dalla casa. Il parcheggio gratuito migliore è in piazza Padre Pio alle spalle di piazza Madonna. Oppure ai lati di Via del Ponticello...
